Ableism

Description
As a district, we are committed to Collective Consciousness for a Community of Care. These modules are designed to create a culture where everyone is knowledgeable about the impact of inequity and committed to ensuring historically excluded groups of people are regularly centered in transformational learning experiences. These modules build Collective Consciousness to normalize giving and receiving care for all people while intentionally working to recognize and repair harm.

In this module, you will learn about Ableism. By the end of the experience, you will know or be able to:
- Reflect on ableism and its role in your life and work.
- Identify key laws and protections related to ableism.
- Create a plan to address inequities related to ableism.
- Process challenging experiences with honesty, rigor, and compassion.
